@Kim--This is exactly why I was willing to give up my opportunity to attend this year--I knew I would have a means to follow it to a degree. Te 21st century tools allowed me to be right in the room, and in one of the sessions I jumped in, the presenter, Darren Kurupotwa, even answered a question we posed in the UStream chat. How cool is that?

I have to agree. I watched alot of the NECC conference from home using the same tools- Ustream, twitter, etc. This was something I didn't even KNOW I could do a year ago, until my TIS introduced me to the K12online conference. This totally makes learning easier and accessible. I think this is definitely the start of what learning is going to look more and more like.
