This I Believe Meme

Another Meme fluttering wings to take off in the blogosphere. Thanks Lisa.

Write out your view of education using the “This I believe…” format.

Since I have done something similar a while back, I will simply point to that post here.   I hope it will suffice. My feelings have not changed.

  • Al Doss, a new voice in the blogosphere–new to me anyway.
  • Jon Becker, another new voice to me, and recently touched off a hot topic (a cocktail party in the blogosphere)
  • Chris Lehmann because my last post was written to point to some awesome k12 administrators who blog, and I left him out because he resides in my folder reserved for “expert voices.” Note to Mr. Lehmann: I apologize for the oversight but not for the location of your feed. Sorry!

Okay, I hope they see their pingbacks, or maybe I’ll @them in twitter.

    Hi Cathy,

I like your new meme. When NPR first started In “This I Believe” in 2005, I wrote my “piece.” Guess what I believed in?

Thank you for tagging me. That was very kind of you. I hope that I did the meme proud. Unfortunately, being new at playing with others in this format, I was not sure that I did everything correctly.
I will have to say that it was fun! Thanks Again!

    Hi Cathy,
Just saw the pingback now; thanks! I will DEFINITELY post my statement(s) shortly, though it’s the end of an academic semester. That means lots of assignments to grade and loose ends to tie up.

Looking forward to the opportunity to reflect, though.

    Thanks again!

    JB

@Jon–whenever! No rush. I am enjoying reading your tweets and blog. From your recent tweets I knew it was a busy time. Thanks for stopping by to comment. Blog etiquette says I should have let you know, but of course I didn’t want to appear that I was “promoting” myself. That, I’ve discovered, could come back to bite in the nastiest way!
